Number 10 : Sukhothai

They say never to judge a book by it's cover. I always seem to create an opinion of a restaurant  by what I see through the window or how it looks from the outside. Sukhothai has no windows to look through as it is located in a basement. So it was with in-trepidation that I carefully opened the large door with no idea as to what I would find inside.

Possibly it was just like being in Thailand... have never been though.

And upon entering... I was really impressed! You walk down a small flight of stairs and enter a very cosy and authentic Thai restaurant. Not that I have even been to Thailand but... it felt Thai ;-) The food was freshly cooked and of a great taste, I also had a refreshing cocktail as well to wash it down with. Friendly service and a nice relaxed atmosphere made it even more pleasant. I'm not sure if it was a family night but each table seemed to have a baby at is as well so you can throw in "child friendly" for those of you with kids. The menu was broad and everything could be cooked vegetarian as well if requested so I was more than pleased.

I will definitely be going back there again and I recommend that you give it a try as well if you have not already done so.
